Complex to say the least and experimental with out a doubt. Tera Melos plays their instruments to create unique and different music that is clearly their own style. As there is so much going on in a single Tera Melos song, I can’t help but to feel movement in the music. Sometimes the guitar chords and drum beats flow like a drunken waltz, with coordination hindered one still invents their own fun seamless movements from one dance step to the next . Or one is jerked around on a roller coaster of sound, twisting and bending with the shifting guitar chords and rapid drumming from snare to symbol to bass. There is nothing safe about Tera Melos, pushing their music with honest artistic freedom not every ear is going to fall in love with them, and that’s just one of the many reasons I have.
